About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Can I travel on a Chinese visa that will expire after I arrive in Beijing but during my stay?

I am an Irish citizen with a multiple-entry visa (issued in Dublin) that has an "enter before" date of 2 March 2017. I plan to travel to Beijing on Feb 22 and stay till 3 March 2017. Can I travel on that, even though it will expire while I am in still in China? Or should I apply for a new one before I go?

Yes, you can try on that. You don’t need to apply for a new one.
