About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Travelling from Bali to Toronto with layover in Beijiing

Layover in Beijing is from 8:40 am to 6:05 pm on Mar 31 - do I need 72 hr visa - want to leave the airport to see some of the area.

Mosher, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit inside the airport and then you can go to the city for a visit.
