How do I apply for a six month tourist visa with double entry into China while I'm outside of Australia? I'm currently in Japan and plan to go to China in one month

Crispian, the application is the same as you apply for it in your home country.You should first prepare your passport and copy of its data page, a fully completed application form, a passport-style photo, your entry record in Japan, round trip air tickets, and hotel booking record. Next, go to the CVASC to apply for the tourist L type.
