About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

I visited China in 2000 for a medical/educational trip.

The visa was in a passport that expired in 2005 and has now been destroyed. I am now applying for a 7 day visa for a trip to Shanghai. What documentation, if any, is required for this application with respect to the previous visa.
Thanks Jo

If you have a copy of the former passport, it should be submitted. If not, you can still indicate your former visit to China on the application form, but you may need to explain the reason for the absence of your previous passport.
