About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling outside Shanghai on 144-hour Visa.

Hi. I carry a Canadian passport and will be travelling from Manila to Shanghai and then to Toronto. Am I allowed to leave Shanghai area to visit Wutai Mountain. Thank you

Well, you are eligible for the 144hrs free transit, but you are not allowed to visit Wutai Mountain which is in Shanxi Province. You can visit the attractions in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu.
