Hi there! You should inform the carrier that you want to enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai before you board the cruise ship in the last country before entering Shanghai. After arrival, you can apply for the free transit from the immigration office at sea port. You are advised to inquire about that with the cruise ship company.
