About:A Word of Welcome

I wish to travel to Fuzhou after I reach Shantou Airport.

How could I go? How much I should spend? How long it will be taken for the travel journey? Any tourism places in Shantou that it is worthy for me to visit in a day trip? How could I go from Xiamen to Fuzhou?

1. Well, there is no direct public transportation between these two places. Upon landing, you are advised to take shuttle bus to get to Shantou Railway Station first. Then take a train from there to Nanchang Railway Station. The duration is around 5 hours. Then transfer to a bullet train to Fuzhou directly. It takes around 3 hours.
2. If you have time, you can tour around Shantou for one day. Nan Ao Island, Lotus Peak, Queshi Scenic Spot and Chen Cihong's Former Residence are recommended. Have fun!
3. About the transportation from Xiamen to Fuzhou, it is suggested to take high-speed train from Xiamen North Railway Station to Fuzhou Railway Station. The train schedules are from 07:20 to 17:09. The duration is nearly 2 hours.
