About:Beijing Great Wall

How many KM from Jiangjunguan Pass to Badaling?

Hi,

We ran the Grand Canyon last year from rim2rim. This year we are looking at doing 50km on the great wall! Is it possible to find a 50km stretch? Also how many KM (along the wall) from Jiangjunguan Pass to Badaling?

Emily, after all these years, the Wall sections should break in the midway. It might not be possible to hike all the way from Jiangjunguan to Badaling. If you want to have a long hike, you are suggested to go from Jiankou section to Mutianyu, which is around 20km and it is a popular yet adventrous hiking route.
