Earth Snake and Metal Rooster

He is an Earth Snake and I am a Metal Rooster. We've known each other for 8+ years now. We wish to get married this year, but I am worried about the predictions that this is a bad year for the rooster. He is currently in between jobs too. I am A blood and he is O blood type. I was born in 28 June and he on 16 July. We hope to get married in September or October as that month holds great significance for us as a couple. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
