About:Chongqing Travel

From chongqing to visit leshan giant Buddha

My first day will arrive at chongqing ariport around 10.30 am.
First day will travel to leshan and stay in leshan. Do they have public transportation?
I plan to visit leshan giant Buddha on second day morning and go back to chongqing after that.

1. Can I go back to chongqing with this same bus station that I have arrived?
2. Which area I should stay in leshan for convenience to visit leshan giant Buddha and go back?

1. Upon landing, you are advised to take the airport shuttle bus to get to the North Railway Station first. Then take high-speed train from there to Chengdu East Railway Station. The train takes around 2 hours. After arriving, you can also transfer the bullet train to Leshan. It takes around 1.5 hours. Take a taxi to the scenic area directly.
2. If you wanna go back to CQ after touring around, the time would be a little bit tight. You can also stay for one night in Leshan and start off in the next early morning if you have enough time.
3. You can easily find a hotel nearby the entrance fee of Leshan Scenic Area.
