About:Shopping in Shanghai

Will the shops and malls in Shanghai be closed during the Chinese New Year?

I will be in the city from the 30.01.2017.I was wondering if malls like Superbrand and shops on Nanjing road will be closed during that period.

Don't worry. As I know, most stores and shopping malls along East Nanjing Road won't be closed during the Chinese New Year. However, these shops will adjust their opening hours. May they will open later and close earlier. :)
