guangzhou airport to xiaobei

Question

I will arrive at baiyun airport at 11pm night. I want to go to xiaobei. Since the last metro train from airport is at 10.59pm, how can i travel to xiaobei? Where i prefer to stay.

Well, there is a way for you: take airport shuttle bus line 1 to Main Railway Station within an hour. The bus won't stop running until the arrival of the last flight. Then catch a taxi to Xiaobei in 6-8min with the fare of CNY10 or so. Where to stay? I am a little confused. But if you want the location of your hotel to be good, Haizhu Square and the surrounding areas are suggested.
