Still need to register at local police station on reentry?

Hi,
I have a permanent resident permit in China. Do I still need to register at the local police station every time I enter the country, or change accommodation?

If so, I don’t think you need to register at local police station after re-entry, but if possible, you’d better confirm that with the local police station.
