About:China Visa Exemption

We will be traveling to Shanghai for one day 6th April 2017 with Princess cruises

do we need a Visa to go sightseeing for one day.We hold Australian passports, Princess required us to have one but all other shipping companies do not require a visa. From Victor and Phyllis McDade. look forward to your answer thanks.

Phyllis, usually, if your travel route is country A-Shanghai (one day)-country B, you will be able to use the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai, and then no visa will be needed then. But if the cruise ship company requires that, I’m afraid you’d better get one to board the ship.
