open markets on new year

hi. i will be visiting beijing on new year 24-31 jan 2017. would like to know if markets and shopping malls will be open. also would the panjiayuan market on weekend new year would be open as well? please get back to me asap. thanks. hagit.

Yes, there will be a Spring Festival fair in Panjiayuan.
