About:China Visa

I am a foreigner working in Wenzhou, China and I have my residence permit.

I would like to bring my wife on S1 visa here soon. I saw some posts earlier about getting residence permit for their spouse after arrival but I still have some queries. In my case my university took care of residence permit process from taking me to the right hospital for medicals, to the entry-exit bureau (and speaking Chinese) and to the police station (this is the only place I filled a form) to get the residence permit stamped in my passport.

Do I have to go those 3 places again for my wife? My colleague was carrying some forms when she came with me to those places, is there a place I could download the required forms?

You just need to bring your wife to the hospital and the police station when she applies for the residence permit.
You can ask for the application form from the local public security bureau; or find your Chinese friend to help you download it from the official website of the local public security bureau in Wenzhou.
