Are the tourist attractions in Foshan open during the Chinese New Year holidays?

Hello, we would like to visit FS during the Chinese New Year holidays and are wondering if the tourist attactions will be open. We are interested in visiting temples, parks and museums. We are currently living in Guangzhou and would like to visit FS by subway and overnight in downtown.
