About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I have seven and a half hour lay over in nanjing (depart from bangkok and destination is Osaka).

Do I need a visa for go sightseeing? Moreover, I'll travel by china eastern airline and holding Thai Passport

No, you don’t need it for sightseeing because you will be eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Nanjing. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office inside Nanjing airport, and then you can go to the city for a visit.
