About:China Visa Application in UK

I am married to chinese lady and have a son who was born in China.

Both hold chinese passports, we are currently living in UK, but plan to return to China later this year. I am a Uk citizen, and met and married my wife while working in China for 8 years. (We have been married now for 6 years) what documents do i need, and if cannot get visa here, how to obtain D type. We want to settle back and live in China.

Thanks Steve

Steve, if you want to apply for Chinese D type, you should live in China for 5 years in a row, and the annual stay in China won’t be more than 9 months, meantime, you should have a stable place to live in China. Otherwise, you can only apply for a Q type for China.
