About:Yading Nature Reserve, Daocheng

Shangri-la to Daocheng

Hi,
If I take a bus from Shangri-la to DC, then should I stay overnight there first and take a bus to Yading in the next morning or not? How long will it take to reach Yading from DC? and is it possible for me to travel from DC to Dali or Kunming, Is there a direct bus? Or i should have to go back to Shangri-la first? Thanks

Hi, there! I remember there is one bus from Shangri-La Bus Station to DC at 7:00 and it takes around 11h on the way. Upon arrival, iis suggested you stay overnight in DC. The next morning, charter a car to Yading and the fare is CNY350 for one day.
I'm afraid there is no direct bus from DC to Dali or Kunming. You need to get back to Shangri-La first and then transfer to either city.
