Comparability in a love relationship

I'm reading up on Chinese zodiac and compatibility. I'm a 32 yr old female looking to settle down and have a family. Will I be compatible enough with my boyfriend to have a happy, peaceful, loving and long-lasting relationship? I'm born 8/10/84 (rat) and he is born 5/17/1979 (goat). Thank you
