About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We are flying into Shanghi at 22:55 pm on friday would like to stay in Shangi High till Monday night

and fly to HongKong staying in Hong Kong Monday and tuesday Night leaving wednesday for Toyko staying in Toyko till Friday returning late Friday to fly out of Shanghi early Saturday morning to return to the US. Is this reasonable to do? Will we need special travel privileges to be able to do this? Would the 144 hour visa work if we leave Shanghi for a few days

Claudia, yes, it is reasonable to do. You will be able to enjoy the free transit in Shanghai each time. No visa will be needed.

Thank you for your reply are you confident that we will not need a visa since we will not be in Shanghai more than 144 hours my concern is that we will be in China and Japan for a total of eight days and we will be going in and out of shanghai
