About:China Private Visit Visa

To Apply for Residence Permit for S1 Visa holder

What is the procedure for S1 type holder to get residence permit.

Is Medical test mandatory for it ?

First, prepare the relevant documents: your passport, the filled-out application form, a passport-sized bareheaded color photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from the inviter and copies of his/her passport and residence permit, as well as your relationship certificate and physical examination report. Next, submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to apply for it.
Medical test is mandatory for that.

It will usually cost CNY400 for a one-year residence permit.
