About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I fly into Beijing on March 16th from Auckland and fly to New York on March 18th. Do I need a Visa?

John, if your layover in Beijing is not more than 72 hours, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit there. No visa will be needed then.
