i wanna go from guilin to zhangjiajie. flying is not an option.

I know that there is a 2 hour train from Huaihua to Zhangjiajie. But that train departs at 14:05. What is the best way to get to Huaihua? Is there a bus? Or do you know a local taxi I can contact or minivan?Thank you!

Linda, GL to Huaihua is really a long ride, it is suggested you go there by train. I found there is only one train from GL Railway Station to Huaihua at 12:40 and the train ride takes around 11h. Upon arrival, you can find yourself a hotel to spend a night and take a morning train to Zhangjiajie the next day.
