About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Two free transit in short period of time?

Hello,

my itinerary is as follows:
1) arrival to PVG from DOH on Qatar Airways ticket and then 2 nights in Shanghai. This should be subject to first free transit visa,
2) departure from PVG to HKG on separate Cathay Pacific ticket and then 3 nights in Hong Kong,
3) arrival to PVG or SHA from HKG on the same Cathay Pacific ticket as in point 2 for another 2 nights. This should be subject to the second free transit,
4) departure from PVG to DOH on the same Qatar Airways ticket as in point 1.

Is there anything in this itinerary, which makes it impossible to get any of two free transit visas?

Tropikey, your travel route will be like DOH-Shanghai (2 nights) - HKG (3 nights)-Shanghai (2 nights) –DOH? If yes, you will qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai in both directions.
