About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I Have an Australian passport and my husband has a UK passport.

We will be arriving in Shanghai from our cruise ship and are staying 2 nights in Shanghai before flying back to Australia. Are we both able to get the 72 hour free transit visa and can we get this from the cruise ship port. Thanks

Eileen, if the last country you fly from before entering Shanghai is not Australia, you will be able to enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. You can apply for it from the cruise ship port.
