Is the shuttle bus from the airport to the station still available at this hour?b. First, all the ride to Urumqi depart from Xian Railway Station. The last shuttle bus from the airport to the station is 2am. You still get time to catch that one. The first ride to Urumqi is for 2:47am, but the time maybe a little limited for you, so you may consideration the one at 03:39am.

There is no direct high speed ride from Xian to Urumqi now. If you want to experience high speed ride for part of the trip, you may take a slow type from Xian to Lanzhou first and then a high speed ride from Lanzhou to Urumqi.
