About:

We are staying near the exhibition center in Harbin.

What is the easiest way to get to the Ice and snow world from the exhibition center? Is there a bus? Or what address could I show a cab and approximately how far is it?

Well, there is no direct bus that can take you to the Ice and Snow World. The distance is around 11 miles (18 kilometers). Thus for your convenience, you are advised to take a taxi to there directly. The cab fare is CNY 40-50 in the day time.
You can show the following Chinese characters to the taxi driver:
'师傅，打车请到哈尔滨冰雪大世界，谢谢！'
