Flying from uk to Singapore two day stay eve fore picking up cruise ship to Hong kong

Vietnam and Japan. Disembark in China shanghai for two nights thenflyback to uk from Shanghai. Do I need a visa please

Lindsay, you mean you will travel like Singapore – HK-Vietnam-Japan-Shanghai-UK? If yes, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. No visa will be needed then.
