Badaling is better-preserved than Mutianyu. It is easy to reach, and suitable for people of all age. However, it might be crowded on holidays. Therefore, people are advised to go to Mutianyu on holidays. In general, Badaling will be better. It costs about CNY 500 to Badaling, CNY 600 to Mutianyu by taxi.
