About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arriving at Boashan port

Our cruise ship arrives at Boashan , 9th March 2017. We are staying in Shanghai, and depart for uk. 12th March 2017. Do we qualify for the 144 hour transit visa. Thank you.

If the last country you come from by cruise ship is not UK, you will be able to make use of the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.

Do we get the visa from the Chinese consulate before we travel from the uk, or on arrival in China.
