About:Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong High Speed Train

Does one go through immigration/customs when going from Hong Kong to Guangzhou?

If so is the wait very long?

Yes, there will be customs and security check process in both HK and Guangzhou. This should not take too much time, usually should be within 20 or 30min.
