About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Visa duration is counting on the 1st day arrival or next day.

I arrived in Shanghai on 21st December with passport stamp on 21st December. My China Visa is 30 days duration. The start counting for 1st day is on 21st or 22nd during arrival. So my last day in Shanghai is on 19th or 20 January (calendar with 31st on December). Thanks.

Hi David, it counts from the following day, ie., December 22nd, so the last day for you is January 20.
