I am a flight crew member on a flight from Amsterdam to Shanghai and planning on bringing 3 family members for a 72 hour layover in Shanghai. After this time they will fly with me back to Amsterdam. Are they allowed to make use of this 144 hour visum or do they have to have a regular visum?

I'm sorry they are not eligible for the free transit policy because they fly from Amsterdam to Shanghai and then back to Amsterdam. This is not a valid transit route.
