And then onto Yuanyang (Pugao) to stay a few days.Is there a bus from Shilin I can take that direction? Is there a bus station at Shilin?And how much would a car service cost for two people?

There is no bus available from Shilin to YY. You may need to get back to Kunming first and then take a taxi to Kunming South Bus Station to catch the last bus to YY at 18:30, but it will arrive at YY at around 0:30, then you need to find a hotel to take some rest. Or, you can spend one night in Kunming and take the earliest bus at 10:20 to YY. It may cost CNY280 for two people.
