About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I stay in SGP,can I go on direct flight to BEI for a day or so if I have the return ticket to SIN

What is BEI?
You mean Beijing?

If so, sure you can have a return flight from Singapore to Beijing.
But you´re not eligible for the 72h twov, you´ve to apply for a tourist visa.
