About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in guanzhou 23hrs 55min

USA citizen have a layover for 24 hrs..will I need China visa if I am going to visit market..

Do I get 72 free transit, at the airport when I arrive?

Raju, if your travel route is country A-Guangzhou (24 hours)- country B, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit and then you can go to visit the market.

Am I able to apply temporary permit at the airport
Also which hotel do you recommend who had airport shuttle pick up and drop off
Also what will be the best way to go and come back from the market
If I leave hotel at 7am and would like to get back to the hotel by 1pm to have enough time to catch my flight at 630pm

Yes, you are able to apply for temporary stay permit at the airport.
As for the market, do you refer to Canton Fair? Only when I know your destination can I find out the relevant information for you.
