is it true that we do not need to sweep tombs of grandparents who are "technically" 100+ yrs old?

I have been told by friends that ancestors / grandparents who are above 100 yrs old would have reincarnated and as such, do not need to maintain / sweep their tombs / pray for them anymore?
Is it true?

It is said that you needn't sweep tombs or pray for them anymore. However, if you want to keep the practice, it is okay.
