hire private taxi to wang's family compound

hi, how much would it cost to hire a taxi to take 2 people from Pingyao Ancient City to Wang's Family Compound, wait for us and drive us back? how much time do you suggest we need to enjoy Wang's Family Compound? 3hrs enough?and it is open everyday - Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 7pm in October?thanks

I have been there this month and the fare for a roundtrip to the compound is CNY50 per person. The driver will wait for you and take you back to the ancient town. 3 hours are totally enough to tour around the compound.The compound opens everyday. In peak season (April~October), the opening hours are during 8:00~19:00.
