shanghai railway station to shanghai airport

Question

Hi,I intend to take a train from Hanghzou to Shanghai and then take an international flight there. Can you please tell me if I can go by rail from SH railay station to airport and what is the fare for one person with luggage?Thanks,Manan

Firstly, there is no rail service between Shanghai railway station and airport. Not sure if your flight will departs from Hongqiao or Pudong airport? If for Hongqiao, it is surely better to choose a ride stop at Hongqiao station which is close to Hongqiao airport. If for Pudong, you can take the subway Lines to get there. The subway should cost within CNY10 per person.
