Can you provide a link to an official website where the 144 hours TWOV policy for Guangdong is described? I can only find information on 72 hours visa-free transit in Guangdong.

Arseny, this information is from the official website of Guangdong Exit and Entry Administration of Public Security Bureau. You can trust it. By the way, the website has no English version, so it doesn't make sense to you.
