About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Chicago, Shanghai, Chengdu layovers to Phuket

I have lay overs that total 24 hrs and 35 minutes in Shanghai and the Chendu both directions in route to Phuket Thailand on China Eastern. One week trip. Do I need visa or US passport?

Randy, as it's a little longer than 24 hours, it's still possible to use the 24h direct transit. You can confirm this with China Eastern Airlines.
