About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

24 hour free transit in yiwu (zhejiang province)

I'm from indonesia. I forgot to apply china visa. I travel from jakarta to hongkong, then hongkong to yiwu (zhejiang province). Can i get 24 hour free transit in yiwu?

Clara, if you travel from HK to mainland China and then onward to a third country and your stay in mailand China is less than 24 hours, you can get the 24h free transit.

Thanks miffy. Is it okay if i stay less than 24hours in china then flying back again to Hongkong again?
Also,do i need to manage 24 free transit in hongkong first? Or in mainland china?

No, you can't fly back to HK if you want to enjoy the free transit policy. If you are eligible, you can apply for it upon arrival in mainland. Nothing need to be done in HK.
