Do I need any type of Visa in Guangzhou while changing terminal?

Hi I am travelling from San Franscisco to New Delhi (San Franscisco-Wuhan-Guangzhou-New Delhi). Now, I don't want to go outside of airport at Guangzhou but what I heard is I have to take transit visa at Guangzhou airport to change the terminal. Is there any free type for transition which I can take?
