Where in Beijing can I change my Q2 visa to a working visa.

Also, I have heard that I can work for three months before getting it. Is this correct?

Edward, you can visit the local Exit and Entry Administration Office of PSB to change yout Q2 to a work Z type. I'm not sure about the saying that you can work for three months before getting the Q2 type. As per my understanding, you need to get the work Z type first and then work.
