About:China Transit Visa

24 hour transit.

Hi,
I'll be travelling from australia to india via singapore and shanghai as australia-singapore - shangai -singapore - India. I have 20 hours layover in shanghai. Am i allowed to go out of airport to visit friend in 24 hour free transit without any visa?

Charlee, if you travel like that, you won’t qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai because it is not a transit at all.
