About:Fenghuang Ancient Town

How do i get from Chongqing to Fenghuang? And where is the best place to book a hotel?

Are there ones in the town itself?

You may take a flight from Chongqing to Changsha, then take the airport shuttle bus to Changsha West Bus Station and you can take coach to the town directly.
There are many hostels in the town. Yijie Hotel, near the Wind and Rain Bridge and Jomo Theme Hotel at the Snow Bridge can be good choice for you. Hope you like.

hi, Michelle.
the way you suggested is not the best way to go there . Because, Changsha to FH is the same distance than chongqing to FH . You can take a flight from chongqing airport to tongren airport. Then take a bus to FH (which cost about 1 hours). You can also take a train from chongqing to jishou , Then after the right side of the train staion , You can take a bus to FH (cost 40 minut). this two way is the best from chongqing to FH.
