About:China Train

I will be travelling from Hangzhou to Suzhou by train on 3/1/2017 and returning on 5/1/2017.

Understand that the railway stations will be quite crowded by then as affected by the approaching Spring Festival Travel exodus. Will I have a guaranteed seat if I purchase a hard seat on T112/T113 (2 hours 45 minutes journey time)?

For hard seat, you will get seat number directly. If you found the seat occupied by other passengers who hold "standing ticket", you can show your ticket and get the seat back. This is kind of normal when there is standing ticket type for sale.
