About:

changshui airport to kunming main railway station

our arrival time is about 6pm, is it possible that we buy our train tickets (to railway station & from KM to lijiang) on the spot when we reach? If not, do you know where can we buy the tickets online? Is it safe to book online?

Dear Jess, there is no train service from the airport to KM Railway Station. You may take shuttle bus line 2 to it. You can buy the bus ticket on the spot upon arrival.

You are advised to book the train ticket to Lijiang through TravelChinaGuide in advance. I once used it to book train tickets, and it is a reliable website. Their email address is booking@travelchinaguide.com. Have a try! :)
